The RØDE NT-SF1 is a broadcast-quality ambisonic microphone designed for 360° immersive audio recording in VR, film, sound design, and experimental music applications. Developed in collaboration with SoundField, pioneers of ambisonic microphone technology, the NT-SF1 captures the entire spherical sound field with unmatched precision. Featuring four RØDE TF-45C ½-inch true-condenser capsules arranged in a tetrahedral array, it records A-Format™ audio, which can be converted into B-Format™ for limitless spatial audio manipulation. The included SoundField by RØDE plug-in allows users to alter mic directivity, position, and rotation post-recording, making the NT-SF1 a revolutionary tool for immersive sound production.
